Knives, cloud, doors, and the Door.
The knife guy.
Started at Cutco at twenty. Seller, field trainer, assistant manager, manager, regional manager. Built his first business in Corpus Christi in his early twenties, wrote a thirty thousand dollar check for marketing, interviewed thousands of people, and hired hundreds of sellers, sixty to a hundred active at any given time. A P&L in his own hands before most people finish college.
Enterprise tech: the climb.
Fourteen years in enterprise technology; ten years and one month at Rackspace, six rungs from lead generator to Sales Director. His teams ran twenty four consecutive months over 100%; as director he grew the org's monthly recurring pace from $180K to $480K in two years through the record setting SMB years, leading sixty plus sellers under ten plus managers. His own book of business: five million to fifty seven million dollars.
"Five million to fifty seven million. But I did not look at the P&L."
Real estate: the height and the fall.
Led more than fifteen acquisitions, businesses of $5 million to $45 million each, more than fifteen hundred doors, a hundred million dollars in real estate. Raised the equity, asset managed the portfolio, answered to investors. Then the market turned, and he lost nearly all of it. Pruned to the ground.
"I met the Lord at the bottom in a way I never met Him at the top."
Under the Doctrine.
Rebuilt on God's governing system. Wrote The Open Door: fourteen chapters on faith, artificial intelligence, and who sits at the head of the table, mined from his own recorded archive by his own machine. Founded 5 Talents to install what he lives: governed, doctrine first AI operating systems for business owners, every install built with the Lord God at the top of the doctrine file, in the open, never hidden.
